{"id":1520,"date":"2025-02-07T18:45:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-07T23:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agdglobal.com.mx\/notice-on-the-adaptation-period-for-employers\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T15:28:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T20:28:02","slug":"notice-on-the-adaptation-period-for-employers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/agdglobal.com.mx\/en\/notice-on-the-adaptation-period-for-employers\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice on the adaptation period for employers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On <strong>May 15, 2025<\/strong>, the National Workers\u2019 Housing Fund Institute (<strong>Infonavit<\/strong>) published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (<strong>DOF<\/strong>) the legal period granted to employers to adjust their administrative systems<sup><\/sup>. This is in order to comply with the reform of <strong>Article 29 of the Infonavit Law<\/strong>, which was originally published on February 21, 2025<sup><\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key aspects of the Notice<\/strong><sup><\/sup>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Continuity of deductions:<\/strong> The reform establishes that payroll deductions for housing loans <strong>will not be suspended due to absences or disability leave<\/strong>, in accordance with the Social Security Law.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Protection of legal certainty:<\/strong> The principle of <strong>protection of legitimate expectations<\/strong> is recognized to prevent abrupt changes that affect both employers and workers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adaptation period:<\/strong> The Infonavit Board of Directors, through resolution <strong>RCA-14500-03\/25<\/strong>, approved a transition period for employers to make the necessary adjustments to their internal processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Implementation deadline:<\/strong> The adjustments must be mandatorily applied in the payment of wages for the <strong>4th two-month period of 2025<\/strong> (July\u2013August), setting <strong>September 17, 2025<\/strong> as the deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose of the notice<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objective of this notice is to provide <strong>certainty and legal certainty<\/strong> to the parties involved, avoiding adverse effects arising from the transition to the new reform<sup><\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Source:<\/strong> <sup><\/sup><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Official Gazette of the Federation.
