On September 8, 2026, the IMSS Technical Council Agreement ACDO.AS2.HCT.310826/238.P.DIR was published in the DOF, approving the mandatory generation of the Digital Employer Identification Card (TIP Digital) and updating the IMSS Mailbox procedures. Once generated, the Digital TIP will replace the physical card in procedures that require it.
