A financial statements audit is an independent process that reviews and evaluates the accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial information, so that the auditor can issue an opinion on the financial statements as of a given date. The result builds confidence and transparency for interested external users.
An audit provides confidence that the financial statements are reasonably accurate, detects errors and in some cases potential fraud —although that is not its primary objective—, meets the legal or contractual requirements many organizations face, improves transparency before investors, banks and authorities, and strengthens internal controls, policies and procedures.
We are backed by more than 25 years providing audit services across industries such as tourism, retail, government and services. We have been auditors of MasterWorks, a public company listed on the SEC, for more than three years, and of the leading hotels in the Cancún and Los Cabos regions.
